For many professionals, it&#8217;s not going to be either\/or, but a combination of office and work from home.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400; padding-bottom: 10px;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.law360.com\/articles\/1333829\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">65% of legal staff<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> responded that their productivity has improved working from home (the pandemic hasn&#8217;t been great for mental health, however).<\/span><\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400; padding-bottom: 10px;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a class=\"c-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thomsonreuters.com\/content\/dam\/ewp-m\/documents\/thomsonreuters\/en\/pdf\/other\/articles\/pandemic-pushes-law-firms-to-consider-slashing-real-estate-footprint.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-stringify-link=\"https:\/\/www.thomsonreuters.com\/content\/dam\/ewp-m\/documents\/thomsonreuters\/en\/pdf\/other\/articles\/pandemic-pushes-law-firms-to-consider-slashing-real-estate-footprint.pdf\" data-sk=\"tooltip_parent\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-67541\">One-third of firms<\/a>\u00a0expect to reduce their office space by over 20%. As the second-largest expense line item after employees, it only makes sense for firms to re-evaluate their space needs. Don\u2019t be surprised to see an increase in the proportion of firms making these changes.<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400; padding-bottom: 10px;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.acc.com\/covid-19-flash-poll-series-online-communication\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Almost half of corporate counsel<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">expect to keep their new flexible WFA policies post-pandemic, and only a quarter believe they will still need the same amount of office space post-pandemic.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a result, firms and legal departments need digital tools that help bridge the gap between the workflows and processes that were built for the office and the ability to work from anywhere.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can&#8217;t support WFA with paper that is in only one location.
